JO & JR Wicking Trust (ANZ Trustees) – Community
Exercise Project Criteria: Calling for applications from suitable organisations in Victoria to conduct a 'community based exercise research project' to reduce risk factors in older Australians with increased fracture risk. The aim of the project is to determine the effectiveness of community-based exercise programs assessing the specific effects of exercise on risk factors for fracture. The project should include assessment of the optimal type & frequency & volume of exercise that is achievable to reduce bone loss and prevent fracture in the community. - Projects that are sustainable and collaborative will be viewed favourably.
