Registration Fees

All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars and include GST. Australia has a Federal Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 10%. Overseas delegates are not exempt from this tax.

*Students are defined as full-time students enrolled for degrees or diplomas at a University or tertiary institution and who do not hold full-time employment positions.

One Day Registration

One Day Registration entitles you to all scientific program sessions, trade exhibition and poster area on one day as chosen by you when you register. To attend any of the social functions you must purchase tickets when you register.

Early Bird Special

To qualify for the 'Early Bird' discounted fees your payment must be received by 2 August 2010. If you cannot pay online via a Mastercard or Visa you will have to mail a cheque or international bank draft - in which case your envelope must have a post mark date of 2 August 2010 or earlier to receive the Early Bird discount.

Sunday Workshops

There will be two workshops held on Sunday, one at the Hilton Adelaide, the other at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. As times for these workshops overlap, you cannot register to attend both.

Sunday Workshop at the Hilton Adelaide

'Advanced Quantitative Bone Imaging: beyond DXA’
To be held at the Hilton Adelaide on Sunday, 5 September 2010.
Time: 08:30-14:30 with morning tea and lunch.

When you register for the ASM you will be asked to indicate your attendance for this workshop.
FURTHER INFORMATION:
Following on from the 6th year of the successful ANZBMS Clinical Bone Densitometry Course, this advanced workshop is designed to inform clinicians and scientists of the latest developments in quantitative bone imaging, as applied in both the basic-science and ‘bench-to-bedside’ settings.

Sunday Workshop at the Royal Adelaide Hospital

'From bone to bench and back again: the science underlying our clinical reasoning and the clinical relevance of research' - a workshop for early career scientists and younger clinicians.
To be held at the Royal Adelaide Hospital on Sunday, 5 September 2010.
Time: 13:00-16:30 with a refreshment break (times may change).
Cost: $0 (no extra fee)
When you register for the ASM you will be asked to indicate your attendance for this workshop.
If you registered for the ASM before 2 August 2010, you were sent an email inviting you to register for this new workshop with a link to a special online form. If you did not receive this email (sent Wed, 4 Aug 2010) please contact the Meeting Manager, your email address may be incorrect on our records.

Payment of Fees

All payments must be in Australian Dollars.

Credit Cards

Mastercard or Visa credit cards will be accepted. (Diners and AMEX are not accepted). Online registration payments by credit card will be processed immediately via a live, secure transaction gateway.

Cheque or International Bank Draft

Payment can be made by international bank draft drawn on an Australian bank. Australian delegates may pay by cheque. All bank drafts and cheques should be made payable to “ANZ Bone & Mineral Society”. At the end of the online registration process you will be asked to print your invoice and return it by mail to the ANZBMS Secretariat with your cheque or international bank draft.

Acknowledgement of registration and receipt

All registrations will be acknowledged by email with a tax invoice receipt unless a mailed receipt is specifically requested by contacting the ANZBMS Secretariat.

Please notify the ANZBMS Secretariat immediately if any changes to your registration details and/or payment are required.

Attendance Certificates

Letters of verification of attendance will be available on request at the registration desk.

Privacy

Personal information, as defined under the national privacy legislation will be treated in accordance with the National Privacy Principles and only shared with related or third parties in accordance with those principles.

Please complete the section of the registration form relating to privacy if you do not wish your personal information to be included in the published Participant List to be distributed at the meeting.

Cancellation and Refunds

A refund of registration fees, less an administration fee of $A100.00, will be made on cancellations received in writing before 30 July 2010. After that date, refunds will be made at the discretion of the organisers.
Cancellation fees for hotel bookings will apply after 5 August 2010.

Disclaimer of Liability

In case of industrial disruption, ANZBMS accept no responsibility for loss of monies incurred by delegates. If, for reasons beyond the control of the organisers, the conference is cancelled, registration fees will be refunded after deduction of expenses already incurred.

ANZBMS do not accept any liability for damages of any nature sustained by participants or their accompanying persons or loss of or damage to their personal property as a result of the meeting or related events.
