The following awards or grants are available for those submitting
an abstract for the 2007 ANZBMS scientific program. You can
apply for these when you submit your abstract via the Abstract
Submission & Award Application Form.
Deadline is: 8 June 2007 **EXTENDED**
- ANZBMS Travel Grant
- ANZBMS/IOF AMGEN Outstanding Abstract Award
- Roger Melick Young Investigator Award
- Christopher & Margie Nordin Young Investigator Poster Award

ANZBMS Membership Requirement
All of the above awards and grants require the applicant to be a member of ANZBMS or applying for membership - except for the Outstanding Abstract Award, which is open to IOF members as well.
Some of the awards require application for ANZBMS membership before 8 June 2007, while others require the applicant to have held membership for a minimum period, as follows:
Awards that require ANZBMS membership by 8 June 2007:
- ANZBMS Travel Grant
- ANZBMS/IOF AMGEN Outstanding Abstract Award
- Roger Melick Young Investigator Award
- Christopher & Margie Nordin Young Investigator Poster Award
- Sol Posen Research Award
Requires minimum 12 months membership:
- Kaye Ibbertson Award for Metabolic Bone Disease
Requires minimum 2 years membership:
- Christine & T. Jack Martin Research Travel Grant 2008
Becoming a member
If you are not currently a member you must apply to ANZBMS for membership by 8 June 2007 to be eligible for these awards/grants. Membership information and application form can be found on the ANZBMS website.
