Hotel Reservations

Sheraton Mirage room photos The Sheraton Mirage is a 5-star resort with superb rooms overlooking beautifully manicured tropical gardens and saltwater blue lagoons. All rooms are spacious and feature one king size bed or two double beds, sitting areas, and en-suite bathrooms.

A very special conference rate has been negotiated for these rooms. Two bedroom villas are also available which can accommodate families or groups. These rates will apply for 3 days either side of the main meeting (22-25 October) subject to availability at time of request.

Alternative accommodation has been arranged at the Radisson Treetops Resort, which provides a relaxed resort atmosphere and is 1.5 km from the Sheraton Mirage. The town shuttle coach service collects passengers every 15 minutes.

To obtain these rates, bookings must be made through the Meeting Manager - i.e. by filling in the 'Hotel Reservation' section on the registration form.

Family Accommodation

For 1 or 2 children (aged <17 years) no additional charge will be incurred if sharing with 1 or 2 adults and using the existing bedding.

Bookings

Availability

No more bookings are available at the Sheraton Mirage for dates that fall outside the following range: Arrive 22nd October - Depart 26 October 2006.
Bookings for the conference dates, i.e. arrive Sunday 22 October and depart Thursday 26 October will continue to be accepted for the Sheraton Mirage, subject to availability.
Extended bookings are available at the Radisson Treetops Resort until further notice.

Deadline for guaranteed bookings

The deadline for guaranteed hotel reservations through the Meeting Manager (i.e. by filling in the Hotel Reservations section on the registration form) was 7 July 2006. Bookings after this date will be subject to room availability. The above rates will apply.

Deposit and payment of balance

A deposit of one night’s accommodation is required to secure the reservation. The deposit will be forwarded to the hotel and guests are responsible for paying the balance on departure. A tax invoice (including the deposit) will be issued by the hotel or apartments. Failure to arrive on the date specified will incur forfeiture of deposit.

Check in/out Time for Hotels

Hotel check-in time is 1500 hrs on the day of arrival and check out at 1100 hrs on the day of departure. Immediate access to rooms will depend on availability. To guarantee access before 1500 hrs the room must be booked for the previous night.

Cancellation

Cancellation fees at the Sheraton Mirage will apply after 25 July 2006 and at the Radisson Treetops after 22 September 2006.

Change of bookings

Any change to bookings must be made in writing to the Meeting Manager and not directly to the hotel or apartments.

Off-site Accommodation

There are a number of 4-star and 3.5 star apartments within walking distance of the Sheraton Mirage. Apartment accommodation is based on a 3 night minimum stay. A deposit is required within 7 days of confirmation and the balance is due 4 weeks prior to arrival.
