Registration Fees

All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars and include GST. Australia has a Federal Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 10%. Overseas delegates are not exempt from this tax.

Registration fees for the IOF+ANZBMS Scientific Program

*Students are defined as full-time students enrolled for degrees or diplomas at a University or tertiary institution and who do not hold full-time employment positions.

Early Bird Special

To qualify for the 'Early Bird' discounted fees your payment must be received by 7 July 2006. If you cannot pay online via a Mastercard, Visa or Bankcard you will have to mail a cheque or international bank draft - in which case your envelope must have a post mark date of 7 July 2006 or earlier to receive the Early Bird discount.

Extra tickets for Social Events

Registration includes your ticket for the Cocktail Reception, for each night's Happy Hour and for the Conference Dinner. Extra tickets for guests must be ordered on the registration form. See Social Events for extra ticket prices.

Satellite Meetings

Registrations for satellite meetings are not part of the IOF+ANZBMS registration but are handled separately by the organisers of each satellite meeting. See Satellite Meetings.

Hotel Reservations

A special conference rate has been negotiated for accommodation at the Sheraton Mirage. Alternative accommodation is also available. See the Hotel Reservations page for full information.

Availability

No more bookings are available at the Sheraton Mirage for dates that fall outside the following range: Arrive 22nd October - Depart 26 October 2006.
Bookings for the conference dates, i.e. arrive Sunday 22 October and depart Thursday 26 October will continue to be accepted for the Sheraton Mirage, subject to availability.
Extended bookings are available at the Radisson Treetops Resort until further notice.

Deadline for guaranteed booking

The deadline for guaranteed hotel reservations through the Meeting Manager (i.e. by filling in the Hotel Reservations section on the registration form) was 7 July 2006. Bookings after this date will be subject to room availability.

Deposit and payment of balance

A deposit of one night’s accommodation is required to secure the reservation. The deposit will be forwarded to the hotel and guests are responsible for paying the balance on departure. A tax invoice (including the deposit) will be issued by the hotel or apartments. Failure to arrive on the date specified will incur forfeiture of deposit.

Cancellation

Cancellation fees at the Sheraton Mirage will apply after 25 July 2006 and at the Radisson Treetops after 22 September 2006.

Change of bookings

Any change to bookings must be made in writing to the Meeting Manager and not directly to the hotel or apartments.

Payment of Fees

All payments must be in Australian Dollars.

Credit Cards

Mastercard, Visa or Bankcard accepted. (Diners and AMEX are not accepted). Online registration payments will be processed immediately via a live, secure transaction gateway.

You should still register online if you cannot pay by credit card. At the end of the registration process you will be asked to print your invoice and return by mail along with an alternative payment (cheque or intl. bank draft).

Cheque or International Bank Draft

Payment can be made by international bank draft drawn on an Australian bank. Australian delegates may pay by cheque. All bank drafts and cheques should be made payable to “ANZ Bone & Mineral Society”.

Acknowledgement of registration and receipt

All registrations paid online by credit card will be acknowledged by email and will be accompanied by receipt.
All mailed registration payments (cheque or intl. bank draft) will be acknowledged in writing and accompanied by a tax invoice and receipt.

Please notify the Meeting Manager immediately if any changes to your registration details and/or payment are required.

Attendance Certificates

Letters of verification of attendance will be available on request at the registration desk.

Privacy

Personal information, as defined under the national privacy legislation will be treated in accordance with the National Privacy Principles and only shared with related or third parties in accordance with those principles.

Please complete the section of the registration form relating to privacy if you do not wish your personal information to be included in the published Participant List to be distributed at the meeting.

Cancellation and Refunds

A refund of registration fees, less an administration fee of $A100.00, will be made on cancellations received in writing before 1 September 2006. After that date, refunds will be made at the discretion of the organisers.
Cancellation fees for hotel bookings at the Sheraton Mirage will apply after 25 July 2006 and at the Radisson Treetops after 22 September 2006.

Disclaimer of Liability

In case of industrial disruption, the IOF and ANZBMS accept no responsibility for loss of monies incurred by delegates. If, for reasons beyond the control of the organisers, the conference is cancelled, registration fees will be refunded after deduction of expenses already incurred.

The IOF and ANZBMS do not accept any liability for damages of any nature sustained by participants or their accompanying persons or loss of or damage to their personal property as a result of the meeting or related events.
