There is no longer a limit on the age of applicants for any of the awards/grants
available here.

award due to your age, but you have already submitted your abstract, please

Awards and grants requiring abstract submission
The following awards or grants are available for those submitting an abstract for the IOF+ANZBMS scientific program. You can apply for these when you submit your abstract via the Abstract Submission & Award Application Form. Deadline is: 7 July 2006
- ANZBMS Travel Grant
- ANZBMS/IOF AMGEN Outstanding Abstract Award
- Roger Melick Young Investigator Award
- Christopher & Margie Nordin Young Investigator Poster Award

ANZBMS Membership Requirement
All of the above awards and grants require the applicant to be a member of ANZBMS or applying for membership - except for the Outstanding Abstract Award, which is open to IOF members as well.
Some of the awards require application for ANZBMS membership before 7 July 2006, while others require the applicant to have held membership for a minimum period, as follows:
Awards that require ANZBMS membership by 7 July 2006:

- ANZBMS/IOF AMGEN Outstanding Abstract Award
- Roger Melick Young Investigator Award
- Christopher & Margie Nordin Young Investigator Poster Award
- Sol Posen Research Award
Requires minimum 12 months membership:
- Kaye Ibbertson Award for Metabolic Bone Disease
Requires minimum 2 years membership:
- Christine & T. Jack Martin Research Travel Grant 2007
Becoming a member
If you are not currently a member you must apply to ANZBMS for membership by 7 July 2006 to be eligible for these awards/grants. Membership information and application form can be found on the ANZBMS website.
