We warmly invite you to attend the 3rd International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) Asia-Pacific Regional Conference on Osteoporosis in 2006 which will be combined with the 16th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Australian & New Zealand Bone & Mineral Society (ANZBMS).
The Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas is 67 km north of Cairns International Airport in North Queensland. The hotel is located between two World Heritage-listed attractions, the Daintree Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef. The climate offers warm to hot days with balmy nights.
This meeting will provide a unique forum for scientific exchange between investigators in Australia, South-East Asia, Japan, and China. The scientific program includes a range of topics presented by eminent speakers dealing with osteoporosis, metabolic bone disease. There are opportunities for oral presentations and poster displays. A special feature will be expert panel workshops on osteoporosis challenges in East Asia, inter and intracellular signalling, bone quality and therapeutics.
