SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS
Please email your abstract as an attachment file to emma@conferenceaction.com.au in
a Microsoft Word format, ensuring that your email is clearly
marked "ANZBMS 2005 ASM Abstract Submission".
On your email can you please indicate whether the abstract
is for oral or poster presentation. Abstracts may only be submitted
via email and
will NOT be accepted by
facsimile.
Please note that it is a requisite for all accepted abstract presenting authors to register for the event. Therefore your abstract must be submitted with a completed registration form, with payment of registration fees for the presenting author. Registration can be completed either through the web site or by facsimile. |
ABSTRACT INSTRUCTIONS
- Abstracts must be typed in English and use a 12 point Arial font with single line spacing.
- All abstracts must not exceed 250 words, excluding title, authors and institution.
- The complete title should be in capitals, underline the presenting author only, do not include titles or degrees. Author(s) and institution(s), city, state and country, in capital/lower case letters, should follow the title.
- Abstracts related to studies must contain the aims of the study, methods, results and conclusion.
- Abstracts may include a simple table or figure.
- Abbreviations should be used only for common terms. For uncommon terms, the abbreviation should be given in brackets after the first full use of the word.
- References should be used sparingly.
- In the interest of full disclosure of potential conflicts of interest, information will be collected about commercial or financial interests relevant to the content of the abstract. Please provide this information at the end of your abstract, using the following codes to provide information for all abstract authors, collectively - for example "Disclosures: 3,4 Company X". This information will not be included in the abstract word limit.
- No conflict of interest
- Shares in company (specify company)
- Paid consultancy with one or more companies (specify company)
- Received financial support for trials or research or travel to conferences (specify company)
- Other information the authors feel is relevant to a declaration of transparency (this information will be held in Council records)
