Call for Abstracts
Abstracts are invited for oral and poster presentation.
CLOSING DATE: Friday, 21 MAY 2004
Submission of Abstracts
Please email your abstract as an attachment file to Emma
Waygood in a Microsoft Word format, ensuring that your email
is clearly marked “ANZBMS 2004 ASM Abstract Submission”.
Abstracts may only be submitted via email and will NOT be accepted
by facsimile. On your covering email, please indicate whether your
abstract is for oral or poster presentation.
It is a condition of acceptance that the presenting author is registered
for the meeting. Please do not assume your abstract has been received
until you receive an email confirmation. If this is not received
within 3 days, please contact the Meeting Secretariat on (02) 9437

Abstract Instructions
- Abstracts must be typed in English and use a 12 point
Arial
font with single line spacing.
- All abstracts must not exceed 250 words, excluding title,
authors and institution.
- The complete title should be in capitals, underline the
presenting author only, do not include titles or degrees.
Author(s) and institution(s), city, state and country, in
capital/lower case letters, should follow the title.
- Abstracts related to studies must contain the aims of
the study, methods, results and conclusion.
- Abstracts may include a simple table or figure.
- Abbreviations should be used only for common terms. For
uncommon terms, the abbreviation should be given in brackets
after the first full use of the word.
- References should be used sparingly.
- Formatting will be completed by the Secretariat.
