We warmly welcome you to honour and celebrate the contributions to the field of metabolic bone disease of Professor T Jack Martin. Jack is known to most of us personally and by reputation to all through his leadership and achievements which have graced the field Nationally and Internationally.

It is our great pleasure to invite you to participate in this meeting which follows the IBMSJSBMR 2003 Meeting, June 3-7 2003 in Osaka (www.ibms-jsbmr2003.org) and is being held with the 13th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Australian and New Zealand Bone and Mineral Society.

The conference will take place from Tuesday 10 June to Friday 13 June 2003 in Coolum, a lovely resort on the sunny Queensland coast in Australia. We have designed a programme involving eminent speakers in a series of lectures to cover recent advances and thinking in many aspects of metabolic bone disease. We invite investigators around the world to join us to help make this meeting educational, exciting and successful.

Hyatt Regency Coolum is located at Yaroomba on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast set amongst 150 hectares of natural bush and rainforest. The Resort is situated 90 minutes drive north of Brisbane. There are daily flights from Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne to the Sunshine Coast Airport, which is located 7 minutes drive south of the Resort. Hyatt Regency Coolum operates airport transfers for all flights.
