Roger Melick Young Investigator Award
and Christopher & Margie Nordin Young Investigator Poster Award

Eligibility criteria for both Young Investigator awards are:

  • Candidates must be financial members of the ANZBMS. If you are not a current financial member you must apply for membership by 19 March 2003.
  • Candidates must be currently undertaking work towards a higher degree (including FRACP).
  • Candidates must be less than 35 years of age at the time of the meeting.

The Programme Organising Committee will be responsible for selecting a short list of candidates for the Roger Melick Young Investigator Award and the Christopher and Margie
Nordin Young Investigator Poster Award. This selection will be on the basis of abstract quality. A panel of judges will assess the short-listed presentations to select the winner.

These awards will take the form of a $1,000 honorarium for the Roger Melick Award and $500 honorarium for the Christopher and Margie Nordin Poster Award.
